Fluoro-polymers - PFA

In contrast to PTFE, Perfluoroalkoxylalkane copolymers (in short PFA) can also be processed as thermoplastics. The characteristics can be summarized as follows:

temperature resistant up to 260 °C
flame resistant (UL 94 V-0)
highly anti-adhesive properties
excellent resistivity against almost all chemicals (e.g. solvents, acids and alkaline substances)
isolating
physiologically harmless; aseptic
high anti-friction / low abrasion properties
